Loftus Durand interviews Mr Choksi’s representatives

On Saturday 6 May, Dominican radio host Loftus Durand interviewed Oliver Laurence, Managing Partner of I-OnAsia, and Michael Polak, Director of Justice Abroad, regarding their work investigating Mehul Choksi’s disappearance. The full interview can be found here.

Mr Laurence, leading investigations into Choksi’s alleged kidnapping on behalf of his family, spoke regarding the investigations undertaken in the Caribbean by both himself and authorities. Mr Polak spoke regarding the legal situation around the kidnapping.

Mr Durand has extensively covered the kidnapping of Mr Choksi on his show, breaking the news that Mr Choksi had been brought to Dominica in May 2021.

Mr Laurence has previously commented: “We have spoken to several key witnesses who have bravely come forward to give us information which has led us to where we are today,” he said. “We have examined everything, from flight manifests to hotel documents, which has painted a disturbing picture.”

Mr Polak has previously stated: “The evidence that Mr Choksi was kidnapped from Antigua and tortured during his unlawful rendition to Dominica is clear. It has been a long road to get to this point, and we continue to fight to secure justice for Mr Choksi.”
